In 2023, the Dutch slide manufacturer Van Egdom filed for bankruptcy. This bankruptcy marked the end of a decades-long history of innovative water attractions. As a long-standing competitor and valued industry partner, we at the company wiegand.waterrides would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation for the achievements of the company and its employees.
In order to maintain central product lines and to continue to be able to offer our customers a wide range of proven slide shapes, we have taken over the designs and selected service orders from Van Egdom in the course of processing. The company itself has not been taken over. For this reason, neither warranty nor warranty claims can be asserted against the company wiegand.waterrides from previous deliveries by Van Egdom.

Service and maintenance for Van Egdom systems
In addition to the production of new systems, we also offer a maintenance and spare parts service for existing Van Egdom slides. Operators of such systems can contact us directly for all questions relating to maintenance, safety and operation. With this step, we want to ensure the preservation of proven attractions – to the delight of future visitors worldwide.
We will be happy to advise you on your waterslide project and prepare an individual offer. The maintenance work is also part of our service.
