The combination of a real slide and a virtual world: the VR water slide creates a completely new experience that goes far beyond classic sliding. Equipped with a waterproof, robust VR headset specially developed for use in wet areas, guests are immersed in a virtual theme world throughout the entire sliding process. Whether through mysterious temples, alien planets or imaginative dreamscapes – real movements are captured in real time via a precise tracking system and synchronised with the virtual world. Appropriate sound effects further enhance the immersive experience.
The VR slide runs completely synchronised with the actual slide course, turning it into an interactive adventure. The integrated sensor technology reacts to every curve and every acceleration, transforming each ride into a unique experience. The battery life of the VR glasses is between 3 and 6 hours, ensuring smooth operation even when visitor numbers are high. The system has a modular design, is easy to install and allows virtual content to be exchanged quickly. Various themes are available and can be flexibly adapted to the target group or season.
The successful premiere of the first VR slide at Therme Erding – with over 126,000 paying guests in its first year – impressively demonstrates the potential of this technology. An innovative highlight for water parks that want to offer their visitors an experience with a real wow factor.

Technology and Safety
Our water slides are made of high-quality Stainless steel (V4A) or of glass fibre reinforced plastic FRP. Stainless steel is particularly durable, corrosion-resistant and ideal for outdoor use. FRP offers a high level of flexibility in terms of shaping and enables individual color and design options. Both materials ensure stability, optimum slip behavior and a long service life of the plant.
The decision between FRP and Stainless steel depends on different factors. Stainless steel is more robust, durable and low-maintenance, while FRP offers more design freedom for individual shapes and daylight effects. There is no clear result as to which material option is better; the choice depends on the specific requirements of the project.
Our water slides are manufactured to the highest international safety standards and comply with the European standard EN 1069. They undergo extensive testing to ensure maximum safety. Important safety features include non-slip entry areas, ergonomically shaped slide elements and robust materials such as stainless steel and FRP. Furthermore, we carry out regular maintenance and safety checks in order to guarantee a long-term safe use.
The sliding speed depends on several factors, including the inclination, the amount of water and special design elements. We can adjust these parameters in order to create different riding sensations – from cozy family slides to action-packed high-speed slides.
Our slides are designed for different weight ranges. Single slides usually have a maximum load of about 120 kg per person, while Raft Slides withstand higher loads.
Depending on the type of slide, there are also restrictions relating to age and size in order to ensure safety and optimal sliding pleasure. These vary depending on the model and area of application and are determined individually.
