Cruise ships

At the company wiegand.waterrides, we are committed to creating memorable water experiences in our cruise ship projects that appeal to passengers of all ages. Cruise ships are special places that, in addition to recreation and fun, also serve as a platform for people from all over the world to come together. When designing water slides for these floating holiday paradises, we take special challenges into account: the inclination of the ship, the resistance to salt and chlorine water, as well as the adaptability to strong sunlight and temperature fluctuations. The demand for spectacular slide experiences with individual designs can be implemented particularly well with GRP slide elements.

Our recommendation

Which water slides are suitable for cruise ships?

When equipping cruise ships with water slides, we offer tailor-made solutions that can be made of both glass-fibre-reinforced plastic (GRP) and stainless steel. Our spectacular slides are designed to deliver record-breaking and exciting experiences, with elements such as steep descents and high-speed turns. The use of GRP allows us to realize complex and visually impressive designs, while stainless steel is appreciated for its durability and elegance. Both materials guarantee high resistance to the harsh marine environment and safety for users. Furthermore, we adapt the color scheme of the slides to the ship's appearance to ensure a harmonious and appealing appearance. For the kids area (under 7 years), an individually designed water playground offers the perfect addition.

The advantages of the selected slides are the following:

  • Spectacular waterslide experiences
  • Ideal for families and adventurers
  • Design suitable for the cruise ship
  • Individual design for optimal use of space
